Scott Greenblatt is an associate with the firm who helps his clients navigate the continually changing real estate laws and regulations in New York City. He represents business and property owners, and commercial and residential landlords, in a variety of litigation and contract work. He handles matters that include non-payment, holdover, and HP proceedings, and drafts and negotiates surrender and lease termination agreements. Even after a case has been resolved, Scott maintains contact with his clients to confirm compliance with the terms of a final agreement or court order. Taking these extra steps means Scott’s clients do not miss an opportunity to enforce provisions that can produce tangible results.
Scott provides thoughtful advice to his clients to limit their exposure to potential claims and the myriad pitfalls that could diminish the value of their investments. In addition to litigation, he works on administrative matters before the DHCR regarding service complaints, rent restoration applications, and MCI applications.
Scott also represents a nonprofit shelter for victims of domestic abuse, and counsels the organization on a variety of real estate-related issues.
